Last wednesday (07 July 2010) I went to see Raggedy Andgy, it-clings and none other, Hanzel und Gretyl at Lee’s Palace, as part of their Bierhaus Blood Tour 2010.

Luckily I had my camera with me. This was the first show I had a chance to use the new lenses (Sigma 30mm 1.4, Canon 50mm 1.4, Canon 85mm 1.8). I have to say that I am really impressed with the image quality I am getting from those lenses.

Lesson learned from that night of shooting: Need to keep the shutter speed higher. maybe at 1/100 s, since there were too many in focus but motion blurry shots.

Attrition and Johnny Hollow at Club Neutral

I saw Covenant many years ago, and when I heard they were playing again, I took my camera, ear plugs and enjoyed the music.
The show was awesome. The visuals were amazing. It was a fantastic experience.

MIDI Ghetto Tour-2010 : Chemlab, 16 Volt, Left Spine Down and Promonium Jesters

Proof-MIDI Ghetto Tour-Chemlab-2010-05-10-20-59-41

The MIDI Ghetto tour (16 Volt, Chemlab and Left Spine Down) played in Toronto at Club Neutral on 10 May 2010. I was excited to see 16 volt and Chemlab, but  Promonium Jesters surprised me. Good solid sound, and a great performance was put on by these guys.

Nitzer Ebb played the Mod Club in Toronto on Dec 01, 2009 and I happen to have my camera with me.

The show was fantastic. The venue was packed. The energy of the crowd was incredible.

Nitzer Ebb was never a band I was into. I know some of their music from miscellaneous sources, and never bought any albums. However, this show was fantastic. I really enjoyed the performance and the energy they brought to the stage.
