Neurodance 12 at Club Neutral continued the tradition of bringing together a great show.
Here’s a sampling of my favorite pictures.
Photographer’s notes:
I think tonight was the first night I had no anxieties about shooting. Usually I’m plagued with thoughts of bad lighting, poor composition, and generally unhealthy photographer thoughts. But this night, I just shot photo after photo.
Challenging circumstances (the fog machine to name one) came up throughout the night, but I just dealt with it. I was quite pleased with the shots I was getting (both at the event on the camera’s 3″ screen, as well as at home on the 23″ screen) and the night just felt very smooth.
Must have been the great music.
Most shots were taken at moderately wide apertures of f/2.0 to f/2.8, at 1/100 shutter speeds, and ISO 800 (which I was pleased with since the images were much smoother looking and less noisy)
Equipment used was a Canon 40D, 50mm f1.4, 85mm f1.8 and a Sigma EF-500 DG super flash.
