I came into the venue with an itch to experiment with various lighting techniques.

Correct/creative flash use seems to be an indispensable part of club photography.

All ambient light shots were taken at very wide apertures of  f/1.4 to f/2.0, at 1/100 shutter speeds, and the flash shots were taken at f/2.8 to f/4.0

Equipment used was a Canon 40D, 30mm f1.4, 50mm f1.4, 85mm f1.8 and a Sigma EF-500 DG super flash.
