Neurodance 10 Clockwork Ball took place at Club Neutral on 02 October 2010. The music rocked (yes, even your set Edwin) and the crowd was fantastic which makes all culminates into the photographs you see here. Couldn’t have done it without you!
Here’s a sampling of my favorite pictures.
I am getting more comfortable with shooting at Club Neutral. Bouncing the flash off the floor is my main source of lighting. A few shots had the flash bounced off the ceiling (due to obstructions on the floor) and a few were shot in ambient light.
The fog machine didn’t help. It looks great, and it certainly adds to the atmosphere, but is not conducive to photographing with a flash. The light of the flash lights up the fog, and blacks end up being washed up and gray.
Most shots were taken at very wide apertures of f/1.4 to f/2.0, at 1/100 shutter speeds, and ISO 3200.
Equipment used was a Canon 40D, 50mm f1.4, 85mm f1.8 and a Sigma EF-500 DG super flash.
